AMB 2026: Process intelligence and responsibility

PFERD TOOLS presents a hybrid consultancy service and robotics solutions – a first amongst suppliers of solid carbide tools

At this year’s AMB in Stuttgart, PFERD TOOLS is presenting its expanded range of solid carbide tools as well as innovative solutions in the field of robotics. At the same time, the company is making a strategic statement: for the first time, it is positioning itself amongst suppliers of solid carbide tools, thereby underlining its commitment to offering customers comprehensive solutions for modern and automated manufacturing processes. The themes of “process intelligence and responsibility” form the core focus of the company’s exhibition presence.

Process intelligence refers to the avoidance of errors in reasoning within automation projects through the systematic analysis and evaluation of the entire process. This primarily involves a detailed analysis of the existing manufacturing process, the identification of critical factors, and the assessment of wear and tear and its effects.

Process responsibility refers to a holistic view of manufacturing processes. PFERD TOOLS presents its new hybrid consultancy approach, which breaks down the boundaries between machining and manual surface finishing and ensures actual manufacturing efficiency.

The exhibition’s key themes focus on productivity, process reliability and competitiveness, says Jörg Hesse, CSO at PFERD TOOLS. “With our booth at this year’s AMB, we are demonstrating that we are far more than just a tool supplier. We see ourselves as a partner for comprehensive manufacturing solutions – from high-performance machining through to intelligent automation. Our presence amongst SCT providers is therefore a logical step towards creating new synergies and offering our customers added value.”

AMB offers the Marienheide/Germany-based family business the ideal platform to engage with users, partners and industry experts on current challenges and future developments in manufacturing. Visitors can find out about the latest product developments on site and see, through specific application examples, how modern tooling and automation concepts can boost their competitiveness in production.
