Description

Cut 5 with high-quality HICOAT coating HC-FEP is especially well suited to fine machining of cast iron, steel, stainless steel (INOX) and high-temperature-resistant materials such as nickel-based and cobalt-based alloys. It produces good surfaces and allows for a longer tool life and use at higher cutting speeds in comparison with uncoated burrs.

Conical burr with round radius end according to DIN 8032 with cut conforming to DIN 8033.

Advantages
  • High-quality HICOAT coating for high hardness and wear resistance.
  • Good surface quality.
  • Long tool life.
  • The highly accurate concentricity enables impactfree working without creating chatter marks. This considerably reduces wear on the tool and tool drive.
Recommendations for use
  • If the smallest area of the burr diameter is being used, the recommended rotational speed can be increased accordingly.
